Hello Friends,
I have an exciting week of coffee nerdom for you this week. I got to stop by a couple of my favorite shops this last week and pick up some new coffee experiences for you to enjoy. First up, tomorrow morning I will be serving a coffee that was gifted to me at Bloom Coffee in Roseville. It is called Streetlevel and it has that perfectly crisp acidity that makes for a beautiful day-starter. Try it as a straight shot or in a capp.
More excitement is coming to the window on Friday as I continue my quest for the world’s best Mocha. About two years ago I tasted a chocolate at a friends shop from the chocolate maker Amano. It blew my mind because for the first time I realized that chocolate held the same ability to possess deep complexity that I find so enjoyable in coffee. There was cherry, vanilla, banana and clove flavor all within that magical bar. Since then, Amano has gone on to win Best Dark Chocolate in North America and a Gold medal in Europe. This chocolate will be making it’s first appearance at Cornish lane on Friday morning in my next mocha The Revenge of the Mocha. It will be paired with a surprising Sumatra single origin espresso from Verve coffee in Capitola. Wonderful sweetness and earthiness should pair perfectly with the fruit in the Amano chocolate.
Well Update: In the first week, we have raised $60 towards the charity:water well we are building. It is a great start! Thanks to Bloom and Verve coffee, this week 100% of the donations will go towards the well.

Hello Friends,
The thing I love the most about incognito is the community that has formed. I believe that every community has a choice to look inward and enjoy the benefits from being part of the group, or they can mobilize and do something great together. I would like to see if we can do something great together. This weekend I was catching up on all of my blog reading and came across a website that empowers people to raise money for wells in underdeveloped countries. Here is the website that explains the project: http://mycharitywater.org/p/tour
For the next three months I will be taking 50% of the money donated at incognito and putting it in a fund to start our Well project. On October 11 we will start a three month campaign to build a well. I am excited to think that all of us can make a difference by simply getting together outside of a kitchen window, sharing life and drinking some good coffee.
To kick off the project I have created some incognito apparel that you can purchase at this website: http://incognitocoffee.spreadshirt.com/ All proceeds from the shirts will be donated towards the Well project.
I would love to hear any of your ideas or comments!
This week I will be open on Wednesday and Friday, serving up traditional drinks with a delicious espresso from Ecco Caffe. Hope to see you there, let’s dream big.
